Project Overview

For House of Josh, I provided end-to-end Shopify product management support, helping maintain and organize the online store’s product catalog while ensuring products were uploaded accurately and presented in a customer-friendly format.

The project involved researching and sourcing suitable products, collecting product information, preparing product data, and uploading products into Shopify with the required images, descriptions, pricing, variants, tags, and collection assignments.

Product Sourcing

I researched products from relevant supplier and product sources based on the store’s requirements. The sourcing process included reviewing product information, specifications, images, pricing, availability, and other relevant details before preparing products for Shopify.

Shopify Product Uploading

Products were added and organized within Shopify with attention to:

SEO-friendly product titles
Clear and structured product descriptions
Product images and image organization
Pricing and compare-at pricing
SKU and inventory information
Product variants and options
Product tags
Collections and categories
Product availability and publishing status

Product Data Management

I also handled product data cleanup and standardization to maintain consistency across the catalog. Product information was formatted appropriately for Shopify to create a more organized and professional shopping experience.

Store Management

The work extended beyond simple product uploads and included ongoing catalog management, product updates, collection organization, inventory-related updates, and maintaining accurate product information.

Results

The project helped establish a more structured and manageable Shopify product catalog, making it easier for customers to browse products and for the store owner to maintain product information efficiently.
